☾✧ Lunar New Year Party 2023 ☒ Red Pocket and poster designs for the year of the Rabbit. ☾✧ Curated by Jenn Tran. ☾✧ Each black and white illustration was provided as a vector file and subsequently riso-printed as posters in the auspicious red colour, as observed by many east and southeast asian populations. A feature wall for the Lunar New Year party displayed the poster, repeatedly printed, alongside 4 other artists' work. ☾✧ Artists were also commissioned to design a graphic appropriate for small red pocket envelopes. These were riso-printed in the same red and the red pockets were adorned on various trees throughout the property, each filled with a poem from a writer in the Lunar New Year-celebrating Australian diaspora community.☾✧
